“Stopped in... ice cream looked ok...some ice crystalled, untouched. Sharpie markered handwritten names on dimmly lighted construction paper. .. hard to read. No one there to take order, just a girl at the register twenty feet away and she must have been tethered to the register. No sign saying order here, so get the message to go to her. Ask if there is a printed ice cream list for people who will not get out of car. No. So shoot pics of it all. Come back in to ordee, get two smalls... a small is two scoups... but they would not mention that if not asked. Good value $2.75 @. Pay up. Get outside where, now in light where I can see, she gave me wrong cherry. Cherry with chips is right next to big half sliced fresh cherries in cream. I asked for big fresh cut cherries. Go back in to ask for a bowl and spoon for wife since melt factor is too messy. That will be $0.25. No pocket change...only credit card. That's O.K.. I tell her the transaction fee will cost her more than the twenty-five cents. I gotta do what the boss says. I mention she gave me wrong ice cream. Only reply is apology, but no offer to exchange or make right or just not charge me the twenty-five cents. Now, I am out in boon town birmingham, I get the monopoly factor, but in this economy do you think the management could instill those awe shucks country values in the staff. I pass right by the next ice cream shop in five miles down the road. So, I don'tthink I'll ever go back. And those uneager young minds will be tomorrow's unintellignt uncaring service operators and owners... worse, that mentality will be translated to obama's health care physician assistant! ” -
