Although Helados Mamà Choco was established in 2021, our family has over 50 years of experience in the business. My grandparents Victoriano Aguirre and Socorro Ponce (also known by her grandkids as Mamà Choco) started their Ice Cream business in Mexico “Helados Lourdes” in 1972. My parents Miguel A. Perez and Victoria Aguirre (daughter of Mamà Choco) had the opportunity to start their business in San Antonio, TX “Fiesta Palebolis” in 1999. Now branching off with my wife and starting here in Lytle, TX. “Helados Mamà Choco” in honor of my grandmother, a strong hardworking woman.
